Pokemon Go player instantly regrets evolving Shiny after disappointing evolution

Despite evolving their Shiny Munna, a Pokemon Go player was left feeling disappointed with the outcome.

Although evolving Shinies in Pokemon Go is often the preferred choice, there are certain creatures that are best left in their original form. This could be due to underwhelming design changes or a lack of advantageous moves in their evolved state.

Shiny Munna, the Dream Eater Pokemon that evolves into Musharna, is a prime example of this. For quite some time, players of Pokemon Go have debated whether Musharna is worth using for anything other than completing their Pokedex.

A Reddit user, designedbyeric, shared their experience of instantly regretting evolving a Shiny Munna in a recent post, reinforcing this idea.

The user explained that they caught the Pokémon and immediately evolved it to complete their shinydex, but later regretted not keeping the original form as the evolution was not satisfying.

A number of my fellow Pokemon Go players also shared their agreement that the evolution of Shiny Munna is not worth the effort.

One user recommended, “Make sure to always Google it first before evolving your only shiny. This can prevent disappointment.”

Despite this, some individuals contended that Shiny Musharna should receive more admiration compared to its predecessor. According to one Redditor, “Shiny Musharna boasts stunning hues! While Munna may appear as a more ostentatious piggy bank, Musharna’s lovely color scheme perfectly complements its dream-like aesthetic.”

Although there has been controversy surrounding the appearance of the Shiny Musharna, POGO users have also expressed doubts about its effectiveness in PvP battles. One particular concern has been the perceived weakness of certain attacks, such as the Charge Beam.

Ultimately, the decision to evolve a Shiny still lies with the player, as it always has.
