Although there are numerous Shiny Pokemon available for trainers to catch in Pokemon Go, certain ones have proven to be especially elusive, causing frustration for those who come up empty-handed.

One response even went to the extent of labeling Magikarp as the “scourge of my existence,”while another user expressed similar sentiments towards Beldum, stating that “the normal form is so disappointing in comparison to the shiny form that it only adds to the pain.”

In certain scenarios, obtaining the Shiny may only be half the battle, something this trainer is well aware of. They recall, “Cascoon and Dustox. I’ve captured a total of five shiny Wurmple, each one evolving into Silcoon and Beautifly instead,”indicating that they experienced the incorrect 50/50 evolution five consecutive times.

Despite their commonality, some players have struggled to catch Shiny versions of Pokemon like Pidgey, Psyduck, Weedle, and Zigzagoon. This is due to the low spawn rate of Shiny Pokemon, which can make even these seemingly easy encounters difficult to find. Unfortunately, Pokemon Go does not have any features to help players improve their luck in finding Shiny Pokemon.
