Pokémon Go players are disappointed with Giovanni’s rewards

Pokémon Go fans criticize “disappointing” rewards from the Giovanni battle, with many calling for Niantic to make changes in the future.

The Team GO Rocket Offensive has always been a challenge in Pokémon Go, with many players needing to optimize their team to defeat the trickiest Pokémon and their trainers.

Giovanni is no different and can pose a real threat to many fans, especially when looking at Giovanni’s list – although it’s worth it to get your hands on the powerful Shadow Pokémon, Kyogre.

However, during the recent fight against Kyogre, some players felt disconcerted, after feeling that the reward was extremely “disappointing.” Now, these fans are calling for a change, to ensure they aren’t disappointed again.

Pokémon Go players demand change to Dark Raid rewards

Sharing their frustration on Reddit, a Pokémon Go player revealed his catch, a 1-star Dark Kyogre.

“I still don’t understand how these can be 1 star,” the player explained, going on to say that “they should guarantee 2 stars or higher for dark legendaries, don’t you think?”

Players were quick to comment to agree with the player, with one explaining: “Mine looks even worse… I know it’s still powerful but it’s annoying and I think that dark legendaries should be tuned better or something so you don’t get the 1 star short stick.”

Others questioned the power of a low-star Shadow Pokémon, with one asking the community: “I have almost the same stats, is it still worth investing in?” Interestingly, many have pointed out his power, despite his stars, revealing that he is “still amazing for raids, regardless of IVs.”

While a low-star Pokémon can be quite discouraging for many, it’s still worth exploring the Pokémon’s power, even if many fans are calling for a higher rating cap on difficult battles.
