Pokémon Go fans are abuzz after a player posted a photo of an in-game bug where it was turned into an actual raid.
Despite almost a decade in existence, Pokémon Go remains a popular game, maintaining an impressive player base and continuing to add new content every month.
Released in 2016, the game is still sometimes filled with various bugs and in-game anomalies that either frustrate fans or make them laugh.
The most recent bug to infiltrate Pokémon Go is of the latter type, with fans sharing their reactions to this new bug in the game on social media.
The bug in question is related to one of Pokémon Go’s most popular features, the raid game mode. On Reddit, a player revealed that the game had turned it into a raid, a feature that players can interact with but shouldn’t be able to become themselves.
Additionally, the poster on Reddit confirmed that once upgraded to a raid, he was stuck in that mode for quite a while before being released. The original poster captioned the thread on Reddit, “I guess I’m a raid.”
Fellow Pokémon Go fans then chimed in in the comments section of the post on Reddit, with many finding the situation amusing.
A Pokémon Go fan commented, “this is hilarious, did you have an egg too?” Another added, “Guys. We only have 10 minutes!!! Someone grab him or he’s gone forever!!!!”
