Pokemon Go players beg Niantic to bring back classic feature

Niantic has received numerous requests from players to reintroduce several old features, and this one is at the top of the list.

During this World of Wonders season, Pokemon Go players have experienced numerous changes. From fresh content to the implementation of highly anticipated quality of life improvements, the game developers are actively engaging with and addressing the needs of Pokemon trainers.

Despite the nostalgia, some trainers in the Pokemon Go subreddit are requesting for an old feature to be brought back.

A gamer by the username of ‘ImBurntToast21′ expressed their opinions on the initial loading screens of the game, which were present from 2016 to 2019. Many fans also shared the sentiment that these screens were particularly impactful.

Trainers also recalled the previous “caution”notices that appeared on the loading screens, intended to avoid accidents caused by being overly absorbed in catching Pokemon.

One Pokemon Go trainer remarked, “I appreciate how these safety tips remind us to stay alert of our surroundings, as we might encounter a Steelix or other Pokemon.”Another trainer responded sarcastically, “But unfortunately, the real danger is often mundane things like traffic and potential tripping hazards. Or, in certain areas like Baltimore, the threat of gun violence.”

It is improbable that Niantic will reintroduce the previous loading screens. Therefore, when you are out playing Pokemon Go, always keep in mind the warning signs and remember to “be aware of your surroundings.”
