Pokémon Go players consider this event the worst in the game

Pokémon Go players are criticizing the new Road to Sinnoh event as the “worst” the game has ever seen.

Despite more than a decade of existence, Pokémon Go is still popular. The mobile game, developed by Niantic, continues to grow with new content, events, and more every month.

And while players are generally happy with the state of the game, some aspects still cause negative reactions.

In a new thread on Reddit, Pokémon Go players have been debating which in-game event is the worst in the game’s history. The original poster claimed that the Road to Sinnoh event is the worst of them all.

The thread, which now has over 200 comments, is filled with other players participating in the discussion. While some suggested other events as being the worst, many agreed with the original poster that Road to Sinnoh takes the title.

The reason for this? Many players have cited poor spawns and uninteresting Research tasks as the main culprits.

One Redditor commented, “Aside from raids and timed research encounters, yes. The apparitions are horrible and so is the field research.”

A second Redditor added, “I was thinking about this. The spawns are pretty cool to me but the catch rates are awful. The raids are terrible. However, getting only 2km eggs with half the brooding distance is also nice.”

However, others defended the event as good preparation for upcoming content. Another Pokémon Go fan added, “It’s awesome for what it is. An event to prepare for the Sinnoh Circuit. You can empty your stored eggs, stock up on bullets if you need them, and not worry about your storage since you can mostly ignore wild spawns.

This isn’t an S+ class event, but I don’t think it’s supposed to be. Just a quiet week to get ready for the weekend.”
