Since its introduction in 2016, Pokemon Go has inspired enthusiastic Trainers to capture Pokemon in the most remote and fascinating locations around the world.
Recently, a skilled player of the game Go has displayed their remarkable capture of a Shiny Mythical Pokemon. Additionally, they took care to catch it in one of the world’s most extraordinary places – the highest peak on Earth.
The well-known Pokemon content creator and music producer GlitchxCity recently posted on X to share their remarkable accomplishment. They announced that they successfully climbed Mauna Kea while completing the Wish Granted Masterwork Research and finally catching the elusive Shiny Jirachi.

Glitch commented on the post, stating that they caught a Shiny Jirachi on the tallest mountain in the world from base to peak. This mountain is Mt. Everest, which has a total height of 8,849m from base to peak. However, others argue that Mauna Kea should hold the title of tallest mountain in the world, considering its total height of 10,205m from base to peak, including below sea level.
Underneath the post, numerous other Pokemon Go trainers joined in expressing their awe at this impressive feat, with one praising the initial post by commenting, “This is perhaps the most amazing thing I have ever witnessed.”
Another individual chimed in, exclaiming, “That’s amazing! Congratulations on your significant achievements!”Another person then joined in with even more admiration, praising Glitch’s shared photos as “incredible”and noting that both Glitch and Jirachi were “truly living their best lives.”
Other than fellow Pokemon Go players, even the official Pokemon X account joined in on the conversation by replying to the post with the comment, “This is iconic.”
Ultimately, another comment playfully referenced the Trainer’s journey to the summit, quipping, “Looks like Pokemon fans do know how to touch grass after all.”
