Pokemon Go Players Express Frustration with Annoying Spawns and GBL Following Biomes Update

The recent Biomes update in Pokemon Go has been plagued with numerous bugs and glitches since its release, and it seems that these problems have now reached a breaking point, causing players to become increasingly frustrated with almost every aspect of the game.

Despite the introduction of Biomes during the Rediscover Go campaign, which initially featured Pokemon from the Kanto region, players are still encountering the same familiar species in the wild, even two months after the update.

Furthermore, the recent nerf to Poke Balls has made it incredibly difficult to catch Pokemon, even with Excellent Throws or basic catches. This has only compounded the existing frustrations and has been highlighted by Reddit user ‘Foulmouth232’, who described the current state of the game as “shambles.”

In addition to highlighting the list of issues, they also heavily criticized the inadequate state of the Go Battle League. The presence of Biomes made it nearly unplayable, leading Niantic to disable the update for participants at the Pokemon World Championships.

Despite the OP mentioning the poor state of Raids and avatar updates as other aspects of Pokemon Go, fellow trainers still chimed in with their opinions.

One player remarked, “The wild Pokemon seem to have remained largely unchanged from last season to this one. The abundance of choices is noticeable. This would be a simple adjustment for them to implement.”Another player suggested that the game would feel “extremely rejuvenated and enjoyable”if each new Season brought unique spawns.

Furthermore, fans expressed their concerns regarding the GBL, a free-to-play platform that does not rely on in-game friends, as it was experiencing significant lags. As a result, players were experiencing defeats in battles that they were previously dominating.

Despite facing numerous issues, many individuals have chosen to stop playing Pokemon Go. Some have criticized the game for having a “beta”feel.

As Go Fest 2024 draws near, players are eagerly anticipating the resolution of these issues so that they can fully enjoy the highly anticipated event without any worries or stress.
