Pokémon Go players no longer want this “useless” feature

As one of the most popular mobile games, Pokémon Go is always evolving. But some features have been reported as counterintuitive and annoying by fans. Here’s what players think of the Campfire Widget.

Pokémon Go players constantly struggle to find a balance between the things they love and the things they’d like to see disappear from the popular mobile game. And while many Pokémon trainers enjoy Time Travel, others wish some of the game’s features could be changed.

For some players, one of the most annoying and unnecessary features of the game is the Campfire Widget (aka Campfire Button) which you can be found in the upper right section of the screen.

Some Pokémon Go trainers are calling for a change to Campfire

How do I make this button go away? I hate it and I need it gone. byu/Seggule inpokemongo

Reddit user ‘Seggule’ was one of the first to bring this complaint to Reddit, posting: “How do I make this pimple disappear? I hate it and I want it gone.” Of course, most trainers agreed with the author’s complaint, saying: “The most useless feature ever.” And: “Niantic doesn’t understand screen clutter management.”

Other players’ distaste for Campire goes beyond simple annoyance. Here’s what one of the Pokémon Go users had to say about the in-game group finder feature: “An aimless slow app and incomprehensible UI design that interrupts your game and makes it restart when you tap on it by accident.”

Meanwhile, some players believe that the main purpose of the group finder is to drain your passes from a distance. One was considerably angry that matchmaking always takes you to an inaccessible raid instead of one in your area: “Every time you use Campfire it matches you with people at 800 km instead of people in the next block. Awesome! “

We’ll keep you informed if Niantic makes any changes to this feature in the game. In the meantime, you can check out what’s happening with Pokémon Go during the Dayevent Upcoming Community, and the debut of Hisui’s Typhlosion in Raids.
