Pokemon Go players are recognizing Niantic’s efforts to implement quality of life improvements in the game and are commending the recent enhancement of buff items.
Niantic’s recent efforts to improve the quality of life in Pokemon Go have not gone unnoticed by trainers. Through silent updates and implementing highly requested changes, the company has been striving to enhance existing features. This dedication to improvement has been met with celebration from players, particularly in regards to the buff item upgrades being released.
Before, trainers were required to manually access their bag menu in order to activate new buff items. However, they now have the option to simply click on the buff item counter located in the upper right corner of their Pokemon Go screen.
In TheSilphRoad, Reddit users have brought attention to the fact that they are thoroughly enjoying the small yet impactful quality of life changes made by Niantic in 2024. These changes include the removal of the constant need to open one’s bag in order to use buff items.
A post, shared by Reddit user ‘bearabi’, praises the recent implementation of ‘Re-activable buff items’ along with previous changes that were well-received, such as avatar customization improvements and the ‘team healing’ feature.
Niantic has been consistently releasing minor updates for the game, and a player even mentioned, “I would be content if Niantic dedicated all of 2024 to resolving bugs and implementing quality of life improvements.”Other players echoed this sentiment, showing support for the developers’ efforts.
