Some of the research tasks in Pokemon Go are simple to finish, only needing a few precise throws of a Poke Ball or for players to catch 10 common encounters.
Although some tasks can be quite frustrating to complete, it is usually because they are either time-consuming or complicated. A common challenge that many players face is the Research tasks that involve catching obscure creatures. However, there will be one of these tasks that will be easier to complete starting on August 13.
Pokemon Go enthusiasts turned to social media to connect over their unfinished Research tasks in preparation for upcoming in-game events. Among them, the highly anticipated Lileep Spotlight Hour stood out, as the rare Sea Lily Pokemon can prove to be elusive.
A player recently posted a photo of the community calendar, highlighting the August 13 event for the Lileep Spotlight Hour and captioning it, “The time is coming…”This sparked excitement among other fans who are eager to complete the task of catching 2 Lileep or Anorith.
A dedicated Pokemon Go player exclaimed, “Exactly! I’ve been trying to catch either a Lileep or Anorith for a whole year now. Unfortunately, I haven’t come across the right Field Research for them. Finally, I can progress to the next page of this masterpiece.”
Some also mentioned that they have eagerly been anticipating the Spotlight Hour, with one player even stating, “I marked this event as a top priority on my calendar,”and another expressing, “I am so grateful for this opportunity on my special research page. I am genuinely thrilled.”
A grateful reader interjected, “I am so relieved that they are taking on this task. I have been struggling with this research for quite some time now. I haven’t come across the fantastic throw task, so this is greatly appreciated. I will definitely have to set a reminder for the day.”
Some fans of Pokemon Go were reminded of their unfinished Lileep and Anorith task and began sharing other long-held Research tasks. One player expressed their frustration, saying, “I still have to evolve a Drowzee and a Scyther. Looks like it’ll be another year before I can cross them off my list.”
Many players were eagerly anticipating the addition of other Pokemon to the upcoming events, such as Aerodactyl, Tornadus, Ditto, and Whismur. Similar to Lileep and Anorith, these creatures have proven to be extremely rare for some players, hindering their ability to complete Research tasks.
Regardless of whether you are looking forward to upcoming Spotlight Hours or are more interested in other features such as the Go Battle League, it is important to stay updated on the latest events happening in Pokemon Go.
