Pokemon Go Psychic Spectacular Event 2023: Hattena Debut, Dynamax Beldum, Dates, and Bonuses Overview

Introducing Hattena

At the event’s commencement, Pokemon Go players will encounter Hattena, a Galarian Psychic-type Pokemon, along with its first evolution, Hattrem. Its final evolution, Hatterene, is a dual Psychic and Fairy-type.

Hattena can be found in the wild, as well as in 7 KM eggs acquired during the event, and players can earn it by completing event-themed Field Research tasks and the Psychic Spectacular Collection Challenges.

To evolve Hattena into Hattrem, you’ll need to use 25 Hattena Candy, and evolving Hattrem into Hatterene requires 100 Hattena Candy. As of now, none of these Pokemon can be Shiny.

Dynamax Beldum

Players can expect the Steel and Psychic-type Beldum to make an appearance in Max Battles, allowing trainers to catch it and evolve it into Metagross for more powerful battles.

Due to its Steel-type classification, Trainers should bring Charizard to maximize their type advantage and defeat Beldum effectively. Niantic has confirmed that Beldum encountered in Dynamax Battles can potentially be Shiny.

Prepare your Poke Balls for the following Psychic-type Pokemon, which will be available in the wild during the event:

The event-specific Field Research encounters offer numerous Pokemon, with Niantic revealing that Morelull will have an increased chance of being Shiny during this time.

By completing Field Research tasks, Trainers can encounter the following Pokemon:

Collection Challenges

Prepare to catch impressive Psychic-type Pokemon and earn rewards.

Complete the Psychic-themed Collection Challenges to obtain Stardust, XP, and additional encounters with Hatenna.

• 2× Stardust for catching Pokemon.
• Extra Candy for Nice Throws or better.
