The current season of the game, Pokemon Go Max Out, centers on Galar and the Pocket Monsters from Sword & Shield, making it the perfect time for the introduction of Hattena, along with its powerful evolutions and new Dynamax monsters.
Event Dates & Times
The official blog states that the Pokemon Go Psychic Spectacular event will run from Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at 10:00 AM local time until Sunday, September 22, 2024, at 8:00 PM local time.
New Pokemon Debuts
Introducing Hattena
At the event’s commencement, Pokemon Go players will encounter Hattena, a Galarian Psychic-type Pokemon, along with its first evolution, Hattrem. Its final evolution, Hatterene, is a dual Psychic and Fairy-type.
Hattena can be found in the wild, as well as in 7 KM eggs acquired during the event, and players can earn it by completing event-themed Field Research tasks and the Psychic Spectacular Collection Challenges.
To evolve Hattena into Hattrem, you’ll need to use 25 Hattena Candy, and evolving Hattrem into Hatterene requires 100 Hattena Candy. As of now, none of these Pokemon can be Shiny.
Dynamax Beldum
Players can expect the Steel and Psychic-type Beldum to make an appearance in Max Battles, allowing trainers to catch it and evolve it into Metagross for more powerful battles.
Due to its Steel-type classification, Trainers should bring Charizard to maximize their type advantage and defeat Beldum effectively. Niantic has confirmed that Beldum encountered in Dynamax Battles can potentially be Shiny.
Wild Spawn Pokemon
Prepare your Poke Balls for the following Psychic-type Pokemon, which will be available in the wild during the event:
