Pokemon Go Rivals Week 2024 Timed Research tasks & rewards

To successfully complete the Rivals Week 2024 Timed Research challenge, Pokemon Go trainers must remain vigilant for any Fighting-type Pokemon.

Niantic launched the Pokemon Go Rivals Week 2024 event on May 4. As the name suggests, the event will highlight popular Pokemon that are traditionally seen as rivals, such as Sawk and Throh, and Zangoose and Seviper.

Furthermore, a special Timed Research challenge was unveiled by Niantic for the duration of the event. Those who successfully finish the challenge will not only have the chance to encounter the featured Pokemon of Rivals Week, but also receive Rare Candy and Fast TMs as rewards.

Pokemon Go Rivals Week 2024 Timed Research Tasks

The Rivals Week 2024 Timed Research tasks have been provided by Leek Duck. Thanks to their contribution, we have the following tasks:

Catch 15 Fighting-type Pokemon – Mankey encounter
Power up 15 Fighting-type Pokemon – Machop encounter
Earn 10,000 Stardust – Gligar encounter
Earn 20,000 XP – Alolan Sandshrew encounter
Win three Raids – Throh encounter
Battle in the Go Battle League five times – Sawk encounter

The rewards for completing the task include two Fast TMs, three Rare Candies, and 5000 XP.

During Rivals Week, players can expect to encounter a higher number of Fighting-type Pokemon, including Mankey, Sawk, and Throh.

This will aid in obtaining Stardust and Candies, which can then be utilized to strengthen and evolve Pokemon throughout Rivals Week.

This Timed Research will be accessible for the duration of the event, which will take place from Saturday, May 4 at 10 a.m. local time until Thursday, May 9 at 8 p.m. local time.
