Pokemon Go Scorching Steps Timed Research Tasks & Rewards

The Scorching Steps Timed Research challenge in Pokemon Go will task players with obtaining their steps and hatching Eggs, as the event’s name implies.

Given the name of the latest Pokemon event, Scorching Steps, it should come as no surprise that the associated challenges revolve around Fire-type Pokemon and hatching Eggs through walking.

A fresh Timed Research challenge has been introduced in Pokemon Go, offering trainers the opportunity to obtain multiple Fire-type Pokemon, such as Turtonator, simply by hatching Eggs.

Scorching Steps Timed Research Tasks & Rewards

Hatch an Egg – Slugma encounter
Hatch two Eggs – Litleo encounter
Hatch three Eggs – Slugma encounter
Hatch four Eggs – Litleo encounter
Hatch five Eggs – Slugma encounter

Upon completion, the rewards will include a chance to encounter Turtonator, as well as 2,000 XP and 1,500 Stardust.

It is important to have Incubators available for this challenge as they are necessary for hatching Eggs. It should also be noted that during the current event, Eggs placed in Incubators will have half the usual hatch distance, and those using the Pokemon Go hatch widget will have a quarter of the usual hatch distance.

Getting the Scorching Steps Timed Research Quest

This Timed Research is a complimentary quest, indicating that a ticket purchase is not necessary to take part.

The Scorching Steps event in Pokemon Go will take place from June 21, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. local time to June 25, 2024 at 8:00 p.m. local time, during which the Timed Research will be available.
