Famous Pokémon Go player FleeceKing is an “emotional wreck” after his record-breaking account was hacked and deleted.
Pokémon Go has been around for almost a decade now, with the game managing to maintain an impressive community of players through months of content updates, new Missions and more.
For some Pokémon Go players, the game has been an integral part of their daily lives for years, with their accounts filled with high-rank Pokémon, shiny ones, and more. As a result, many care deeply about their accounts and do their best to keep them as secure as possible.
However, one Pokémon Go player was left completely distraught after revealing that his account had been hacked, causing him to lose access to all of his progress and data.

Well-known Pokémon Go player FleeceKing has taken to social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter) to share how he has now lost access to his account.
FleeceKing was the first person to reach level 50 in the game. The streamer has captured over 2 million Pokémon on his now-deleted account.
“My account has been hacked. Deleting my Pokémon, bragging about it. No one has my account details, I don’t know how and why this happened. I am completely at a loss for words and I am completely upset and sad.
The Niantic team is working to recover it. But in all honesty, I don’t know if I will have the motivation to play and continue after this situation. Sad that people actually find joy in destroying other people’s lives in any way, and celebrating destruction on others. I’m an emotional wreck.”
After sharing the sad news, fans were quick to show their support for FleeceKing. One X user wrote, “why do some people just get happy ruining other people’s fun, it’s disgusting.”
Another added, “sorry to hear that. Something similar recently happened to me too. People can be so cruel. I hope they fix it for you.”
Time will tell if Niantic can help FleeceKing recover his Pokémon Go account.
