The Pokemon Go community has shown great enthusiasm for the upcoming Tynamo Community Day, with many players online praising it as a “godsend”.
Community Days for Pokemon Go can vary in success. Some are highly acclaimed for their usefulness and enjoyable engagement, providing fans with the opportunity to gather rare Pokemon Candy. However, there are also those that receive criticism from the fanbase, being labeled as dull or insignificant.
A player shared The Silph Road subreddit’s official Tynamo Community Day infographic to provide others with crucial information about the event, including bonuses, chances of finding Shinies, and other pertinent details.

Overall, the information shared received a positive response, although there were a few grumbles mixed in. One player enthusiastically exclaimed, “As someone who had given up on trying to find this family in Scarlet and Violet, this is a blessing,”in regards to the Shiny odds for Tynamo.
Despite one viewer dubbing the event as “useless,”another player stepped in to defend it. They provided reasons why the event is still worth participating in, highlighting Tynamo’s origins from outside of Kanto, its effectiveness as a non-shadow Electric attacker, and the fact that it is a newly released Shiny.
The Tynamo Community Day announcement was also circulated through the official reveal trailer, sparking further discussion among players.
A fellow Pokemon Go player joined in on the discussion from the previous post, stating, “I completely agree, the shiny hunt in Violet was tough. I’m happy to have this new Shiny family in Go.”Other players also expressed their agreement, with one even mentioning, “I’ve been holding off on hunting Tynamo, hoping for a Community Day to come.”
Despite the event, there were still some skeptics. They expressed their thoughts that it was a dull choice or completely arbitrary. One individual even remarked, “I don’t find it practical but I suppose it had to occur eventually.”
No matter if you enjoy PvP battles, searching for rare Shiny Pokémon, or simply collecting all types of Pokémon, participating in the Tynamo Community Day on July 21 is highly recommended.
