The tasks and rewards for the Special Research that will be featured during Pokemon Go’s Tynamo Community Day have been unveiled.
The upcoming Community Day will showcase the Electric-type Tynamo on Sunday, July 21, 2024, between 2 PM and 5 PM in your local time zone. During this event, you will have a higher likelihood of encountering a Shiny Tynamo in the wild or as a prize for completing Research tasks in Pokemon Go.
During the Tynamo Community Day, players can also expect to receive double the amount of Candy when catching Pokemon and a 1/4 decrease in distance required for Eggs to hatch in Incubators.

- Make five Nice Throws – x15 Poke Balls
- Catch 15 Tynamo – Tynamo Encounter
- Power up Pokemon 10 times – x20 Tynamo Candy
Prizes: 3000 Stardust, Tynamo Encounter, and 1 Incense.
Step 2 of 4
- Transfer 10 Pokemon – x10 Pinap Berries
- Catch 15 Tynamo – Tynamo Encounter
- Evolve three Tynamo – x30 Tynamo Candy
Prizes: 4500 XP, Encounter with Tynamo, and one Egg Incubator
Step 3 of 4
- Make three Great Curveball Throws – x15 Great Balls
- Catch 15 Tynamo – Tynamo Encounter
- Evolve One Electricity – x50 Tynamo Candy
Prizes: 4500 Stardust, an encounter with Eelektrik, and 1 Rocket Radar
Step 4 of 4
- Claim Reward – x15 Ultra Balls
- Claim Reward – Tynamo Encounter
- Claim Reward – x2 Silver Pinap Berries
Rewards: 5500 experience points, an encounter with Eelektross, and three rare candies.
How to get the Tynamo Community Day Special Research
Players of Pokemon Go have the option to unlock this Special Research for an additional fee of $1.00 USD or the equivalent amount in their local currency.
