Pokémon Go’s latest event criticized for unappealing rewards

Pokémon Go players felt disappointed by the rewards of the new challenges from Team GO Rocket leaders.

One Redditor commented: “Yuck. I honestly would have preferred rarer Pokemon or maybe regional Pokemon from the leaders, to give everyone a chance to catch them all, instead of spending thousands of dollars to fly to Egypt or France, and so that people don’t have to bend the rules to fill out their Pokédex.»

Another player added: “It’s another replay of something we’ve already had, and it’s currently in rotation with regular minions so we can still get it.”I think people were hoping for something new, especially with an underused guy.

Right now they’re giving us an insane amount of Dragon, Ground, and Dark Fighting-types. We need something else like steel, poison, insect, water, specter or plant, for example.»
