Pokemon Go’s most underrated Berries are key to catching OP Shadow Lugia

Shadow Lugia will be appearing in Raids in Pokemon Go in the near future. Defeating this Legendary creature can be intimidating, but capturing it is a whole other challenge as it will attack the Poke Balls. Fortunately, there is a Berry that is rarely used but greatly increases the chances of catching it.

Nanab Berries may not be as frequently used as other variants, but their ability to soothe a Pokemon is immensely helpful in achieving Excellent Throws. This is especially important when you have a limited number of Balls to catch a Shadow Legendary.

Therefore, after Reddit user ‘schwicksqueegee’ shared their experience of deleting Nanab Berries due to their in-game storage being full, other trainers quickly chimed in on the comments section to emphasize the significance of these items.

Does anybody even use Nanab byu/schwicksqueegee inpokemongo

During its last appearance in October 2023, numerous users reported that catching Shadow Lugia was made easier with the use of Nanab Berries. They advised the OP to save these berries for the upcoming Raids, as they will be useful in capturing this powerful Legendary.

Some individuals noted that in the previous encounters with Shadow Lugia, using Nanabs was more successful in catching them compared to using Golden Razz Berries, despite the fact that Golden Razz Berries have a higher catch rate.

Please remember that Shadow Lugia can only be encountered during the Raid Weekend event on August 10 and August 11, which will take place from 11 AM to 6 PM local time on both days. As Remote Raid Passes cannot be used, participants must physically battle the Shadow Lugia.

Despite being a one-time event for the current Season, the Raid Weekend has prompted fans to share their strategies for using Nanabs during regular gameplay. One trainer stated, “I use them for feeding my buddy, defending gyms, and catching shadow Pokemon. They are always on the move!”

The use of these Berries on Shadow species has been strongly endorsed by numerous users, as they are highly effective attackers in the game due to the 20% increase in their offensive strength.

After catching Shadow Lugia in Pokemon Go, make sure to increase its power for the Go Battle League, especially in the Master tier.
