Pokemon Players Anticipate Tynamo Community Day to Alleviate Tedious Grind

The highly sought-after Electric-type Tynamo has been selected as the star of the upcoming July 2024 Community Day in Pokemon Go. Fans of the mobile game, as well as Scarlet and Violet, are eagerly anticipating the event.

Despite being a Community Day, this event will offer a new shiny Pokemon that is not commonly found in the wild. This unique feature has piqued the interest of players who are eager to add this exceptionally rare discovery to their collection in both games.

Following a question posed by Reddit user ‘Mammoth-List9852′ about the possibility of Tynamo being the next Community Day feature, many Pokemon Go players expressed their opinions on the Gen 5 creature.

Upon seeing the Tynamo featured in the upcoming Community Day, trainers remarked, “It’s a shiny I haven’t caught yet, so I’ll definitely participate.”Another trainer expressed their enthusiasm, saying, “I’m surprisingly more thrilled for this Community Day than I have been for any in the past year. The Tynamo family has always been a personal favorite of mine.”

Despite some opinions that the featured Pokemon, Eelektross, may not be highly useful in the Go Battle League or Raids due to its weak stats, many players were still excited for this Community Day event featuring a new shiny version.

Despite many claiming to be “fans of shiny Eelektross”and eagerly anticipating the event, it was a surprise to everyone that those who also play Scarlet and Violet were the most devoted.

“As an avid shiny hunter, every community day is a fantastic opportunity. As someone who diligently pursued the line in SV, I am thrilled for any fellow collector who is still searching, as this event will make it much easier than before.”

It is important to acknowledge that although Tynamo is not considered rare in Scarlet and Violet and its DLCs, it is incredibly small in size. Additionally, the “buggy”visual effects on the water in these games make it incredibly challenging to spot the shiny form, which appears very similar to the normal form.

A player expressed their dislike for hunting for these types of shinies in water in S/V, as they found it difficult to distinguish them and encountered low framerate issues. They were therefore grateful for the community day event.

During Community Days, the shiny odds are increased to 4%, making it simple to obtain multiple shiny Pokemon. Rather than spending countless hours or days searching for them in the Gen 9 games, you can transfer them to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
