When it comes to mobile games in the Pokémon franchise, Pokémon Sleep might not be the first application that springs to mind. However, a year post-launch, this sleep-tracking app has cultivated a dedicated fanbase and recently introduced a significant update that lets Smart Watches assist players in capturing Pokémon.
In addition, there’s more exciting news regarding the game. The Pokémon Company announced on X that the Pokémon Sleep soundtrack is now available on Spotify, sharing one of the most consistently praised aspects of the game with fans everywhere.
Indeed, if you weren’t aware, Pokémon Sleep features modern remixes of classic Pokémon tracks throughout its various biomes. Fans have shown immense appreciation for these tracks since the game’s debut.
What does Pikachu hear? It’s Snorlax sound asleep in the Spotify Japan office! The soothing sounds of @PokemonSleep are now available on @Spotify. pic.twitter.com/ufzVJK2YPC

Now, even if you’re not inclined to help a Snorlax catch some Zs while tracking your own sleep, you can still immerse yourself in the relaxing melodies of Pokémon Sleep’s impressive score.
Support from fans has been pouring in through the comments, including one user who shared a screenshot of a song titled ‘Halloween event’ and remarked, “Don’t sleep (heh heh) on this one. Legit banger of a song!”
Another enthusiast commented, “Wait what!? Y’all actually did it. Yet another Pokémon Sleep W.” Additionally, someone else wrote, “Already added it to my Spotify playlist! Thanks for this!”
However, not every fan is satisfied. This development highlights the ongoing issue that The Pokémon Company, as of this writing, continues to withhold main series Pokémon soundtracks from streaming platforms such as Spotify. They have also been known to issue copyright claims to remove fan-uploaded content.
One fan expressed hope, stating, “Hope you guys add the main series OST next cuz they’re all bangers,” while another commented, “PLEASE PUT THE MAIN SERIES OSTS ON STREAMING AND MY LIFE WILL BE YOURS.”
With any luck, this initial move is an indication of positive changes ahead.
