Pokemon Video Game Champion Defends Orlando Title on “3 Hours of Sleep”

The reigning Pokemon World Champion and winner of the 2023 Orlando Regional, Wolfe Glick, returned to defend his title at the 2024 Regionals in Orlando and emerged victorious once again.

Despite participating in the Pokemon EUIC 2024 tournament just days prior, previous World Champion Wolfe Glick made a quick return to the Orlando Regionals this past weekend to defend his title as the 2024 Orlando Regional champion. Despite only getting “3 hours sleep”at the time, Glick proved that a good champion cannot be kept down.

Despite facing tough opponents, Wolfe was able to advance to Day 2 of the competition. In the final round, his Amoonguss managed to survive a Close Combat from Urshifu, allowing him to secure victory over finalist Neil Patel with a well-timed Sludge Bomb. This impressive performance earned Wolfe the trophy.

Following the match, Glick took to X to celebrate his victory, exclaiming “I WON ORLANDO REGIONALS AAAAA.” This marks Glick’s consecutive win at the Orlando Regionals, setting him up for success at Pokemon Worlds in the upcoming months.

Numerous supporters were commending Glick on his victory post, with one individual exclaiming, “That was the most incredible finals of the season. Congratulations, it was truly amazing!”In addition, another person remarked, “You might just be the greatest of all time.”
