Pokimane addresses inappropriate comments on her photos

Pokimane recently addressed her fans for leaving strange comments on her Instagram posts, pointing out that these comments will most likely be removed.

Among the most well-known female creators on social media and Twitch, Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys ranks highly as a popular influencer.

She has accumulated almost 10M followers on Twitch, 5.8M on Instagram, and millions more on Twitter, YouTube, and TikTok combined.

Despite having a large fan base, it is expected that Anys would receive the occasional “weird”comment. In a July 17 Instagram story, she made a statement addressing those who leave such comments.

“As a reminder, this is a public service announcement,”she stated. “Kindly refrain from leaving any inappropriate comments on my photos as they will be removed. Thank you for your understanding.”

Despite being deleted now, this Instagram Story is not the first instance in which Pokimane has spoken out against “weird”fans in her comments and during her stream.

In 2022, the Twitch star expressed frustration towards viewers who repeatedly inquire about her – or any other woman’s – pregnancy whenever they have something exciting to announce.

The speaker expressed frustration with the constant speculation about her potentially being pregnant. She stated that whenever she mentions any news or exciting updates, at least three people ask if she is pregnant. She found it odd that some individuals were more interested in discussing this topic with her than even her own mother.

Most recently, Pokimane utilized her fame to aid in raising funds for charity by hosting an auction where fans could bid on the opportunity to have a gaming session with her.

The bids quickly climbed to $500,000, however, the auction website soon discovered that a significant number of the bids were fraudulent. CDawgVA publicly denounced the fake bids as “cringe.”

“He expressed his disdain for those who fake donations to charity, stating that there is nothing more pitiful than pretending to give money to a good cause. In his opinion, it is a sad and shameful act.”

The current highest bid is approximately $30,000, which is still a considerable sum of money.
