Pokimane Fans Concerned After Streamer Jokes She Wants to “End It All”

Fans of Twitch star Pokimane have expressed worry after she shared a TikTok video where she playfully mentioned wanting to “end it all.”

On May 4, 2024, Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys, a well-known Twitch streamer, shared a quick video on her secondary TikTok account, hinting at the mental health challenges she is currently facing. The clip can be found at the following link: https://www.tiktok.com/@pokialt/video/7364912679296879918.

The streamer started by saying, “You know when you’re feeling down and someone comments, ‘Wow, you look like you’ve lost weight. Have you been working out?’”It’s like, I’ve been struggling emotionally and haven’t had much of an appetite. I’ve been contemplating ending things. Yeah.”

Upon reading the influencer’s post, fans immediately showed their support and expressed their concerns in the comments section. One fan even wrote, “Poki…are you okay? Do you want to talk about it?”

Anys replied to the viewer, stating: “No, I genuinely do not.”

Another fan wrote, “Has Poki said this before? Is she alright?”

“”Don’t give up,”another person encouraged. “I understand it may be difficult and I may not know the details of your struggles, but keep pushing forward.”

Currently, it is uncertain what Pokimane is experiencing, however, her supporters are sending her an abundance of encouragement following her recent upload in hopes of aiding her well-being.

In the past, Anys has been honest with her viewers about her mental health. In July 2022, she wrote an open letter to her fans, explaining that she needed a break from streaming to prioritize her mental well-being and personal life.

After a month had passed, she posted a tearful message on social media for her followers, revealing her decision to redirect her attention from streaming on Twitch to creating content on popular platforms such as YouTube and TikTok.

Ever since, she has left her exclusive contract with Twitch and become an independent creator. She frequently shares photos and videos from her travels and records episodes of her new podcast, ‘Don’t Tell Anyone.’
