Cho Ji-ho, head of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency, stated on May 7th that the investigation of the complaint against ADOR’s CEO Min Hee-jin, filed by the parent company HYBE, should be expedited and publicly explained due to the high level of public interest in the matter.
During the regular press conference this morning at the Seoul Metropolitan Government in Jongno-gu, Seoul, Cho stated that the investigation has not made any significant progress. He also addressed the issue of the complaint not specifying the amount of money involved in the breach of trust, stating that they are currently reviewing the records and that the complaint is still valid even if the sum has not been confirmed. He emphasized that the investigation will clarify the amount during the process.
On April 25th, HYBE submitted a report to the Seoul Yongsan Police Station accusing ADOR’s CEO Min Hee-jin and other ADOR executives of violating trust.
On the 29th, CEO Min Hee-jin urgently called for a press conference to refute the allegations and voice her dissatisfaction, stating “That is false.”
Meanwhile, CEO Min Hee-jin and the board members of ADOR informed HYBE, their parent company, that a board meeting would take place on the morning of May 10th. Although the specific details of the meeting agenda have not been revealed, it is said that a proposal for a shareholders’ meeting will be put forth.
