According to Viu, a popular OTT platform in Asia, tvN’s Monday-Tuesday drama “Lovely Runner”took the top spot on Viu’s weekly chart for the first week of May (April 29th ~ May 5th) in Indonesia, Singapore, and Malaysia.
This accomplishment was achieved within a span of only 4 weeks since the launch of “Lovely Runner”in the local market. Aside from dominating the charts in certain countries, it also secured the second spot in Hong Kong and the Philippines, and third place in Thailand. Given this impressive progress, there is a growing curiosity as to whether “Lovely Runner”will continue its upward trajectory and claim the top spot in major Asian markets until the end of its run.
Moreover, the hit drama “Extraordinary You”, starring Kim Hye-yoon, has also seen a surge in its popularity due to the success of “Lovely Runner”. It rapidly climbed to the 11th spot in Indonesia and the 12th spot in the Philippines.
