Despite the fact that Yuji’s domain is largely unknown, a few Jujutsu Kaisen fans have discovered a “sneaky”way to unlock its power.
Despite Yuji being the main character, he has not received much recognition in recent chapters of Jujutsu Kaisen. However, this has finally changed as he showcased his domain expansion in Chapter 264, successfully trapping Sukuna within it.
At first, Yuji’s domain was an empty railway station, but in Chapter 265 it expands to an abandoned town. Despite its expansion, the domain does not possess any offensive abilities, as Yuji and Sukuna spend their time wandering around without being attacked.
Additionally, Sukuna’s presence has inexplicably returned to Yuji’s body, but in reality, he has taken over Megumi’s body while still maintaining his own appearance. The transformation of the ancient curse’s appearance remains a mystery to both Sukuna and readers.
However, the seemingly innocent façade is on the verge of crumbling. In Chapter 265’s finale, Yuji issues an ultimatum to Sukuna, demanding that he leave Megumi’s body and return to his own in order to spare the curse’s life.

Despite Sukuna’s obvious refusal of Yuji’s offer, fans speculate that this may be the true source of power for the domain. Yuji’s proposal is in fact a Binding Vow, and if the intended recipient accepts it, they will be protected from Yuji’s cursed technique of soul dismantle.
Nevertheless, if the intended recipient refuses to accept (as Sukuna has), the technique will still be unleashed upon them. As domain expansion is guaranteed to hit its target, there will be no escaping its true strength.
According to one user on Reddit, by giving Sukuna the opportunity to escape and allowing the sure-hit soul dismantle from his domain, its effectiveness has been heightened. This is similar to how Sukuna operates with his open domain, as he refused the deal.
Another person suggested, “Let’s imagine that in the next chapter, Sukuna’s head is sliced off, just like he did to Yuji when he offered the Binding Vow to revive him.”
“Although I am not familiar with the specifics of Yuji’s domain, I am certain it will be malicious. The look in their eyes is that of a dangerous individual,”remarked a third person.
