The upcoming release of the iPhone 15 (without a suffix) may introduce a new color choice that has been consistently offered for previous models starting with the iPhone XR.
It is possible that the upcoming iPhone 15 will be available in a vibrant red color. Although Apple has not yet confirmed this, the (RED) account on X recently shared a photo that appears to be a (PRODUCT) RED iPhone 15.
The iPhone 15, as shown in the image, boasts a recognizable blood-red hue, a color that has been a staple on previous iPhone models. For those who may not know, Apple partners with the (RED) foundation to release (PRODUCT) RED devices in support of the fight against AIDS and HIV. A portion of the sales from (PRODUCT) RED Apple devices is donated to the (RED) foundation.

According to the (RED) foundation, Apple has collaborated for the past 17 years to raise over $250 million for the Global Fund by selling (PRODUCT)RED devices and accessories.
The launch date of the iPhone 15 in a new color option is still unknown, as Apple has not yet confirmed its release. In previous years, the company has typically introduced new iPhone colors in the Spring season, boosting sales midway through the phone’s life cycle. In 2022, they added green options to the iPhone 13 lineup in March, and the previous year they debuted the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus in a new yellow variant around the same time.
The iPhone 15 is currently offered in blue, pink, yellow, green, and black. Interestingly, Apple chose not to include the (PRODUCT) RED option upon release, deviating from the pattern seen in previous models since the 2018 iPhone XR.
