Possible Reason Why a Major Character is Missing in Dragon Ball Daima According to Fans

Dragon Ball Daima is set to release in October, but one prominent character has been noticeably absent from the promotional material, sparking various theories and discussions.

Despite being the return of an iconic franchise and Akira Toriyama’s final major contribution to the property following his tragic passing, Dragon Ball Daima is highly anticipated as one of the biggest upcoming anime of the year. The highly awaited anime show is set to premiere in October 2024, and is expected to end the year in a spectacular and epic fashion.

However, one notable absence is Gohan, Goku’s eldest son.

Despite being a major part of the Z Fighters, Gohan has been noticeably absent thus far. This deviation from his usual involvement in tackling villains has been observed by fans, sparking the development of various theories.

“One fan points out on Twitter that Gohan is nowhere to be seen with Daima, prompting another fan to add that it would be disappointing if he is not even present when his father-in-law, Mr Satan, is depicted as a miniature version of himself. Has anyone else noticed this or found it strange?”

“A fan suggests that the idea of Gohan being the sole adult in Daima remains strong, providing a valid explanation for why Goku’s child is not currently appearing on screen.”

“So it seems like there is definitely something being kept under wraps about Gohan, right? He’s the only prominent Z Fighter who we haven’t seen any updates on so far, including his extended family members like Videl,”a Reddit user suggests, supporting the idea that there is more to the situation than meets the eye.

The theory is quite convincing. Gohan manages to avoid the effects of the dark magic that turns everyone else into chibi, making him the unofficial caretaker and responsible adult for any tasks that need to be completed in the real world.

Akira’s style and sense of humor align perfectly with the tone of Dragon Ball, which has consistently incorporated situational comedy throughout its various iterations, from the original series to present day.
