Possible Return of Old Fortnite Battle Pass Skins Comes with a Catch

According to a recent rumor, Disney is reportedly developing “solutions”to reintroduce characters from past Battle Passes into Fortnite.

This essentially means that the new Battle Passes will be the only ones affected. However, a rumor shared by leaker Samleakss on X suggests that Disney is currently developing “solutions”to bring back certain characters that were previously exclusive to past Battle Passes.

According to the post, Disney is currently developing ways for popular characters like Darth Vader and Iron Man to make a comeback in Fortnite through new Outfits‼️ Additionally, they have advocated for a deal that would no longer restrict future Battle Passes to be exclusive.

For those who are not familiar, the skin of Darth Vader was made available in the Chapter 3, Season 3 Battle Pass, while the other skin was originally exclusive to Chapter 2, Season 4. If this leak is indeed true, it means that players who were unable to play during that time period may have the opportunity to use these characters in the future.

However, there is one important detail to keep in mind. The rumor suggests that these skins may return as “new outfits,”potentially indicating that they will have added variations. Meanwhile, players who obtained these skins during previous seasons will likely still have access to the original styles.

Furthermore, this could potentially indicate that the change will be limited to IPs owned exclusively by Disney, leaving DC skins and others unaffected. Despite the lack of confirmation from Epic, players are eagerly anticipating the possibility of this change based on comments and speculation.

“One user praised, saying “I hope so, they would make lots of money! Disney is making a smart move by giving the community what we want too!”

One user commented, “That’s a W.”

At the same time, someone else commented: “Compared to Vader, Iron Man seems to have a simpler solution (just use a later suit from Infinity War, Endgame, etc), but I am curious to see what that solution will be.”

Despite the rumors, it is important to treat all information with caution until there is an official confirmation from Epic Games.
