Possible Taylor Swift MCU Series Unrelated to Deadpool in the Works

While many speculated that Taylor Swift would make her debut in the MCU through one of the Deadpool films, it appears that she has discovered her own path into the franchise.

According to writer Daniel Richtman, it has been reported that Swift recently met with Marvel CEO Kevin Feige to discuss the possibility of her being cast in an upcoming Marvel TV show.

Taylor Swift is being considered for the main role in Blonde Phantom, a “crime fighting spy series”set in 1950s Las Vegas, which is in development for Disney+.

The first appearance of Blonde Phantom, also known as Louise Grant, was in 1946 in the comic book All Select Comics #11.

During the daytime, Grant serves as a secretary at the Mark Mason Detective Agency, harboring a secret love for her boss.

On the other hand, when Mason sets out to investigate a case at night, Grant transforms into the Blonde Phantom by donning a floor-length gown, black mask, and high heels. This daring alter ego uses her charm and gun-toting skills to fight crime.

Mason and Grant’s dynamic is often compared to a gender-swapped version of Superman and Lois Lane. While Mason harbors feelings for the Blonde Phantom, he shows no interest in his timid secretary.

If the rumor is accurate, it is speculated that Blonde Phantom could serve as a portal for Taylor Swift to enter the Marvel Cinematic Universe, a long-awaited accomplishment that some thought would occur through her appearance in Deadpool 3.

Despite the confirmed cameos of Deadpool and Wolverine, there is still a possibility that Swift could make an appearance in the movie.

The highly anticipated film, Deadpool and Wolverine, is set to hit theaters on July 26.
