The anime Possibly the Greatest Alchemist of All Time is adapted from Kogitsunemaru’s light novels and follows the story of Takumi Iruma. Despite lacking heroic abilities, Takumi is summoned to another world as a hero. As a gesture of compensation, the Goddess Norn allows him to select any skill he desires.
Surprisingly, Takumi decides to specialize in Alchemy, which is considered a mundane skill. However, he soon discovers that Alchemy is, in fact, the most dominant skill, granting him the ability to craft almost anything, ranging from a Holy Sword to a flying ship. Using this seemingly “unremarkable”skill, he transforms into a prosperous merchant and establishes himself as an unbeatable prodigy.
