On May 19th, the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute released the rankings for May Girl Group Individual Brand Reputation. Occupying the third spot is ILLIT’s Wonhee, followed by IVE’s An Yujin at second place and IVE’s Jang Wonyoung at the top spot.
The Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute examined the brand reputation index of individual girl group members by utilizing big data from 1,216,168,805 sources and analyzing consumer behavior through participation, media, communication, and community indexes. This analysis was conducted from April 19th to May 19th.
The Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute’s Director, Koo Chang-hwan, conducted an analysis of IVE’s Jang Wonyoung brand and concluded that it exudes positivity, freshness, and originality, ranking the highest in link analysis. The results of keyword analysis also show that terms like ‘IVE,’ ‘Lucky Vicky,’ and ‘Wonyoung-esque’ rank the highest. Additionally, her brand has a high positive ratio of 91.72%.
The term ‘Wonyoung-esque’ has become a popular trend in Korea, particularly among the younger population. It is derived from the optimistic attitude displayed by Jang Wonyoung.
Last September, Jang Wonyoung shared a video on IVE’s YouTube channel documenting her trip to Spain. In the video, she expressed gratitude to the person ahead of her who purchased all the bread she had planned to buy, allowing her to enjoy the freshly baked bread.
