A Prime Hydration post on X has gone viral for congratulating IShowSpeed on reaching 30 million YouTube subscribers, after fans noticed he appeared to have seven fingers on his hand.
Logan Paul and KSI came together in 2022 to launch Prime Hydration, an electrolyte-packed sports drink that rapidly gained popularity online.
Since its inception, they have signed several high-profile athletes and content creators, including Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, NBA star Kevin Durant, and YouTube sensation IShowSpeed.
On September 17, 2024, IShowSpeed hit a remarkable YouTube milestone of 30,000,000 subscribers, prompting Prime to celebrate his success on their X account.
The post showcased a photo of Speed holding a Blue Raspberry Prime Hydration bottle, with “Speed 30M subscribers” emblazoned around him. The image quickly went viral, with attentive fans swiftly observing that Speed was holding the bottle with seven fingers.

As the post gained attention, numerous users flocked to the comments to express their opinions.
“Prime giving 6 fingers to Speed??? I knew that drink was poisonous,” one user quipped.
Another user remarked: “It’s official. Prime makes you mutate.”
Many commenters speculated that the picture appeared to be generated with AI, while others accused the company of trying to artificially boost engagement.
“AI-generated fingers being used as engagement farm,” one user noted.
A fourth user added: “Purposeful 6 fingers for the engagement. We see you, Prime social media team.”
This incident follows closely on the heels of Prime’s recent release of a limited-edition bottle featuring one of their athletes, Kevin Durant, which faced a trademark lawsuit from the US Olympic and Paralympic Committee due to mentions of Durant’s gold medals on the bottle.
On the same day, Logan and KSI collaborated with MrBeast and his candy company, Feastables, to introduce a new product named Lunchly, designed to rival Lunchables. The launch was met with immediate backlash from fellow creators, who criticized the product as “crap” and urged the creators to “do better.”
