On Friday, June 14, 2024, King Records, ARIA entertainment, and Takaro Tomy announced the production of a new original television project called the Princession Orchestra anime series. The series is set to debut in 2025, although a specific release date has not yet been revealed.

Despite this, the Princession Orchestra anime did confirm its main cast and gave a sneak peek of their performances in a 60-second promotional video that was released alongside the announcement. The project’s intended audience was also revealed, along with other franchise offerings, a key visual, production details, and other pertinent information.

Princession Orchestra: A Musical Anime for All Ages with Toys and More!

As previously mentioned, the Princession Orchestra anime project has revealed some exciting new information in addition to its production and release date. The project is intended for both children and adults, which could lead to a variety of possibilities. Furthermore, the franchise will include music and toys in addition to the anime, potentially creating content and merchandise suitable for adult audiences.

The main cast for the series was also revealed, and their characters were showcased in a prominent visual. Minamo Sorano/Princess Ripple (blue-haired character) will be portrayed by Azusa Aoi, Kagari Sakibe/Princess Zeal (pink-haired character) will be played by Yuri Fujimoto, and Kagase Ichijo/Princess Meteor (green-haired character) will be portrayed by Azusa Tachibana. Please note that the romanizations of these character names have not been officially confirmed at the time of writing and are subject to change in the future.

The original work for the new content production brand UNISON is credited to King Records and ARIA entertainment. The original plan is credited to Akifumi Kaneko. Noriyasu Agematsu from Elements Gardne serves as the executive producer, while Shin Onuma directs the anime at SILVER LINK studios.

Manta Aisora is responsible for both writing and overseeing the scripts, while Yukiko Akiyama is in charge of designing the characters for the animated series, using Mari Shimazaki’s original designs as inspiration. The music for the anime is being composed by Elements Gardens, but it is currently uncertain if they will also handle any music production for the franchise beyond the anime.

The anime series Princession Orchestra is set in Alicepia, a mystical nation with a long history. The Alicepians, the country’s inhabitants, are renowned for their joyful nature, but their peaceful existence is disrupted when they are suddenly besieged by enigmatic creatures called Jamaock. This event sparks the beginning of the story, which centers on the “princesses”who bravely hold onto the melody in their hearts, even in the face of danger.

As stated earlier, there is currently no additional release information available at the time of writing this article. Nevertheless, fans can anticipate updates to be primarily announced on the official website of the anime once they are released.
