A professional Counter-Strike 2 match lasted an incredible 2 hours and 50 minutes, necessitating a bathroom break for the players during the map, thus breaking the record for the longest professional match in the game.
Anyone familiar with intense CS2 matches knows that they typically last around 30 minutes, while overtime matches can extend to 40 or 50 minutes, particularly in closely contested battles.
However, this match between M80 and Fnatic during ESL Pro League Season 20 set a new standard for duration.

The match commenced on Anubis, where both teams displayed equal skill, concluding the first half with a score of 6-6. By the end of regulation, the score was tied at 12-12.
This set the stage for a marathon of overtimes, with neither team able to secure a victory as the rounds progressed.
During round 64, in the seventh overtime, and two hours and 25 minutes into the match, players paused the game to ask if anyone needed to use the restroom.
Fnatic’s player, bodyy, inquired if anyone was desperate for a bathroom break, which prompted unanimous agreement from the lobby. One of M80’s players mentioned feeling the need to go for the last 20 rounds.
As referees allowed the players to take a break, cheers erupted as they stood up to stretch, and the broadcast team also took a five-minute intermission.
