Pro Valorant Team Beats Rivals Despite Player’s Malfunctioning Mouse and Sparks Trash Talk

Despite Boostio’s mouse dying mid-game, 100 Thieves’ Valorant team surprisingly managed to win a round. As expected, this impressive victory resulted in some fierce trash talking towards their opponents.

Using a wireless mouse, there is no worse feeling than when it suddenly dies during a gaming session. However, imagine the frustration of it dying during a crucial match at a top-tier professional LAN event. That certainly sounds even more unpleasant.

In the middle of a regular season match against Cloud9 in the VCT Americas Stage 1, 100 Thieves’ IGL Boostio found himself in the exact situation. Despite facing a disastrous tech issue, they managed to win the round.

During round 16 of the first map Bind, the casters promptly pointed out Boostio’s peculiar movements, specifically that he was not using his mouse to move.

Despite the unfortunate tech issue, 100 Thieves was able to successfully execute a site and put themselves in a post-plant position. Boostio then made the selfless decision to sacrifice himself for the team’s benefit, showing determination and resilience in a difficult situation.

Boostio bravely put himself in harm’s way to help his team take on C9. His selfless sacrifice allowed his teammates to capitalize and turn the situation from a 4v4 (which was essentially a 3v4) into a 2v1 advantage for 100 Thieves, ultimately leading to their victory.

Boostio’s reaction to their round victory was absolutely priceless. As soon as 100 Thieves surprisingly claimed the round, he promptly rose from his seat, gestured towards the C9 players, and could be heard shouting “You’re all terrible, you’re all garbage”.

Despite conceding one more round in Bind, 100 Thieves ultimately emerged as the victors of the map. They continued their success on map two, Ascent, winning with a score of 13-6 and sweeping the series 2-0 with the momentum on their side.
