Karina’s stylist has once again been criticized by MYs.
On July 14, the fourth-generation K-pop group aespa performed their “2024 aespa LIVE TOUR – SYNK: Parallel Line – In Japan”at the Saitama Super Arena. The concert provided an ideal chance for the members and their fans, known as MYs, to make lasting memories through spectacular performances and meaningful interactions.
Despite her performance on social media platform X (Twitter), many users were quick to point out that Karina encountered a wardrobe malfunction. Online posts revealed that Karina had been seen holding her dress with one hand during the performance.

The photo sparked a wave of frustration among fans towards her stylist and SM Entertainment. Numerous fans called for Karina to be given better styling, as this has been a recurring issue for the idol.
Additionally, a number of individuals referenced KWANGYA 119 in their social media posts and utilized the trending hashtag “#PROTECT_KARINA”to show their support. Fans further urged SM Entertainment to issue an apology to Karina for their repeated styling errors.

During a previous styling incident, numerous fans were disappointed on June 25th when they noticed Karina’s skin-chafing during a performance. In particular, MYs brought attention to Karina and aespa’s performance at the “2024 K-WAVE Concert.”
Despite NingNing’s absence from the event due to health concerns, Karina, Winter, and Giselle still put on amazing performances. Unfortunately, fans were disappointed to learn that Karina had suffered from skin irritation caused by the rough fabric of her outfit.
Despite some being outraged by the stylist’s decision for the leader, there were also those who disapproved of the repeated incidents concerning Karina’s well-being and fashion choices. Additionally, there were suggestions for SM Entertainment to consider replacing the idol’s coordinator.
On November 12, 2023, aespa appeared on SBS’s “Inkigayo”to showcase their latest song “Drama.”While all members delivered a remarkable stage performance, fans also grew worried for Karina. Several videos surfaced online, revealing Karina’s discovery of a needle protruding from her outfit.
The leader was taken aback by the needle’s sudden appearance and promptly removed it. Fans were outraged at the stylist and SM Entertainment for putting their idol in danger, voicing their concerns about the potential harm the needle could have caused.
