Following a statement from Psy’s agency P Nation regarding the unexpected cancellation of “Summer Swag”at Parking Square of Seoul Grand Park in Gwacheon on July 20th due to inclement weather, Psy took to social media to share his personal thoughts on the matter.
On his social media account, Psy expressed, “It was an unforeseen circumstance that I had never encountered before,”and went on to say, “The wellbeing of the audience and staff was the top priority in that moment. I extend my gratitude to all the attendees for remaining composed.”
During the show earlier today, I know that each and every one of you came a long way with high expectations. Unfortunately, we were forced to stop the performance due to unforeseen weather conditions. I understand that this may have been disappointing for all of you, and I was also upset to see everyone leave. If you have tickets or booking details for the show and would like a refund, we will happily process that for you. And for those who still wish to attend the rescheduled show, we will make sure to arrange seats for you once again. Thank you for your understanding and support.
Lastly, Psy expressed his sincere gratitude to the audience for their precious visit on behalf of himself and the 1500 staff members. He also promised to showcase their preparations for the performances again on a future date.

Earlier, Psy’s agency announced that due to concerns for the safety of both the audience and staff, they have made the decision to cancel the ‘Summer Swag 2024’ event in Gwacheon. This was due to the challenging weather conditions, including heavy rain, lightning, and strong winds in the area, which made it difficult to continue with the scheduled performances. The agency also reassured ticket holders for the Gwacheon show that they will receive a refund through the ticket reservation office where they purchased their tickets. Furthermore, the agency will release a separate notice with details about the rescheduled performance for those who were planning to attend today’s show.
