On July 1, Baskin Robbins will be re-introducing a limited edition ice-cream flavor that gained a devoted following when it was first released in 2021.
During the previous summer, the ‘Beach Day Baddies’, who are avid fans of the ice-cream, were thrown into a frenzy when their beloved flavor, Beach Day, suddenly disappeared. It is known to be one of the most favored flavors.
Baskin Robbins is now partnering with Sports Illustrated legend and body positivity influencer Hunter McGrady to reintroduce the beloved flavor, along with some additional treats to commemorate the occasion.
When the Beach Day flavor was discontinued last summer, fans on Reddit were devastated and began searching for it at their local Baskin Robbins stores. Many were left wondering if the flavor was only available seasonally or if it had been permanently discontinued, with one user commenting, “I really miss the shmacks of Beach Day, but I can’t seem to find it anywhere anymore.”
Despite initial speculations from some fans that it may be the same flavor as ‘Game Night’, a seasonal flavor from Baskin Robbins, others were eagerly anticipating its return this summer and predicted a June or July release. As it turns out, their predictions were correct as the flavor has made a triumphant comeback.
As of July 1, customers can anticipate seeing the following items in Baskin Robbin stores:
- Beach Day ice cream: A salted vanilla-flavored ice cream swimming with milk chocolate-flavored caramel-filled sea turtles, frosting flecks, and swirls of graham cracker “sand.”
- The new Beach Day shake: featuring a caramel praline drizzle and graham cracker “sand” topping.
- The new Beach Day sundae: Two scoops of the fan-favorite flavor with caramel praline topping, graham cracker “sand,” and a delicious waffle cone chip.
- Bring the beach home with the Beach Day Pre-Packed Quart. Order it for pickup ahead of time or have it delivered straight to you.
Baskin Robbins has appointed Hunter McGrady as the leader of the Beach Day Baddies. Known for her relaxed demeanor, summer fashion, and fondness for Beach Day ice cream, McGrady is determined to spread the message that one can experience the beach with just one bite or sip of this delicious treat.
In addition to catering to customers who are passionate about Beach Day, Baskin-Robbins will be releasing the Beach Day Collection, a limited edition set of products that are ideal for warm summer days.
The assortment consists of canvas tote bags, bucket hats, coolers, tumblers, crewneck sweatshirts, and pin sets. These items will be available for purchase on the Baskin Robbins website starting July 1, while supplies last.
