Despite no official announcement being made yet, the leaks from Weekly Shonen Jump magazine Issue #31 on Thursday, June 27, 2024, revealed new information about the Black Clover manga that will be announced in the upcoming issue of the magazine.
The highly anticipated return of the Black Clover manga will feature two new chapters in the upcoming Jump GIGA Summer 2024 magazine on Thursday, August 8, 2024, published by Shueisha. After the successful release of Chapters 370 and 371 in the previous issue of the magazine, fans can expect to see Chapters 372 and 373 in the upcoming issue.
Despite the previous chapters being accompanied by announcements of covers or color pages for Black Clover, the upcoming Jump GIGA magazine is not expected to include any extra content aside from the two manga chapters.
How fans reacted to the Black Clover announcement
The release of the two new Black Clover chapters was highly anticipated by many fans. They had been eagerly awaiting their arrival since April and were hopeful that they would be released sooner rather than later.
Some fans expressed a desire for the manga to release 10 chapters at once as an apology for the four-month wait they endured.
“Wish it was 10 chapters for making us wait 4 months,”one fan said.
“Let’s gooooo we got chapters again,”another fan said.
In addition, one fan stated their desire for the manga to release chapters on a weekly basis, but also acknowledged that releasing at least two chapters every quarter was still a positive development considering the current state of the series.
Therefore, their hope was for Yuki Tabata, the creator of the manga, to adhere to the consistent release schedule in each issue of Jump GIGA.
“Tabata follow this same pattern for every Giga issue, that’s what I want..,”another added.
“I thought this Mid garbage ended already,”other fan said.
Finally, the manga’s announcement also garnered reactions from fans of other series. However, unlike the supportive fans, these individuals expressed negative opinions, labeling the manga as “garbage”and stating that they believed the series had already concluded.
