Following his visit to the set of James Gunn’s Superman movie, Chris Pratt has expressed his willingness to take on a new role in the DC Universe.
Pratt is well-acquainted with superhero movies, having previously appeared in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy films. When fans noticed Pratt on the June 17th set of James Gunn’s Superman, speculation arose about his potential involvement in the new film.
Despite the apparent demise of the rumor, this does not rule out the possibility of Pratt joining a future DC film. In fact, the actor himself has stated that there is always a possibility for it to happen.
As for the character he would portray, Chris Pratt stated in an interview with TMZ that he would leave the decision to the fans and individuals such as James. He expressed uncertainty about the role and whether he would be willing to leave his Marvel background for a new opportunity with DC, but ultimately confirmed that he would be open to it.

He expressed, “I would be delighted if it aligned with my schedule and was reasonable.”He added, “I have a great fondness for portraying Star-Lord, and I hope there is a possibility for that to happen again. I feel incredibly fortunate to have the opportunity to be a part of any of it and to be considered for any future projects. If it’s fitting and well-received by the fans, I would be thrilled to participate.”
Pratt’s involvement in the Superman movie has sparked discussions among fans about which DC character he could potentially portray. Many are speculating that he could take on the role of Batman, especially since Robert Pattinson’s version of the caped crusader does not exist in the DC Universe.
If Pratt were to join Gunn’s DCU, he would not be the sole Guardians star to do so. Recently, Pom Klementieff mentioned at San Antonio’s Superhero Comic Con that she had been discussing the possibility of playing a specific (yet unnamed) character with Gunn.
“According to Agents of Fandom, [she] expressed her desire to continue collaborating with James and mentioned that they are actively searching for opportunities to do so. While she confirmed discussions about a specific character, she is unable to disclose any details at the moment.”
