As you journey through the expansive world of Avowed, you can embark on a quest to discover the hidden Starmetal locations, particularly during and after the “Forged of Star-Stuff”segment. These unique pieces of metal not only allow you to forge exceptional weapons but can also be enhanced by the skilled Forgemaster Dela at the Starmetal Smithy.

In total, you will find one unit of Starmetal in each of the game’s regions: Dawnshore, Emerald Stair, Shatterscarp, and Gallawain’s Tusks. While some pieces are straightforward to locate, others may require a bit more exploration. This comprehensive guide aims to help you track down these coveted materials effortlessly.

All Starmetal Locations in Avowed

1. Dawnshore Starmetal Location

To find the Starmetal in Dawnshore, head directly southwest of the Emerald Stair Gatehouse. Its proximity to the primary story path makes this location the easiest to access. However, be mindful that if you’re rushing through the main storyline, you might overlook this valuable resource.

After using the fast-travel option to reach the Emerald Stair Gatehouse Beacon, proceed directly towards the Godless Altar marked on the map above. Some Xaurip foes will cross your path, but once dispatched, the Starmetal awaits atop a stone table.

2. Emerald Stair Starmetal Location

For the Starmetal hidden in Emerald Stair, you will need to delve into the Damp Burrow underground, near the Rolling Crags party camp. Fast-travel to the Rolling Crags, and make your way to the abandoned house directly to the south.

Once you defeat the spider lurking inside, look for a destructible entry point on the floor leading to the basement, which further descends into a hidden cave. Beware of fighting the Dreamscourge boss, Iscern, along with several other adversaries before you can spot the Starmetal close to your landing point.

3. Shatterscarp Starmetal Location

To track down the Shatterscarp Starmetal, head to the southeast corner of the Abandoned Mine. The entrance can only be reached from a specific point. From the Thirdborn party camp, navigate along the cliffside until you reach the designated entry spot.

Once inside, ascend the stone platforms until you find a passage leading into the Abandoned Mine. Confront the enemies within, and make your way to the top level of the mine. From there, parkour across to the right side, where you’ll discover the Starmetal nestled beneath a tree.

4. Gallawain’s Tusks Starmetal Location

The last unit of Starmetal can be found in the Ash Forest, located northwest in the Gallawain’s Tusks region as shown above. For those venturing into this area for the first time, the trek from Solace Keep can be lengthy, but fast-traveling to the Primordial Depths party camp makes it much more manageable.

The Starmetal piece lies within a small crater at the slope’s base. Upon collecting this final piece, prepare for a boss encounter with Destul the Revenant, a formidable bounty target. If you haven’t claimed the bounty yet, the spoils from Destul can still serve as a trophy, allowing you to complete the quest later on.
