Yoona and Iroha were the first to appear, walking hand in hand with beaming smiles. Moka and Minju followed closely behind, and finally, Wonhee, who had injured her ankle and was using crutches, came out. The process has been criticized by fans due to the members’ apparent lack of care for Wonhee. As they walked, the injured member was seemingly ignored, with only Minju briefly stopping to stay by Wonhee’s side.
Despite the agency’s efforts, they have received criticism for their perceived lack of assistance. Two main issues were raised, including the absence of aid for Wonhee’s outerwear. The use of crutches in hot weather can be extremely difficult, and those who have used crutches before would be able to empathize with this. This neglect for basic care and support has caused disappointment among many.
In addition, there has been criticism about the perceived misuse of the crutches. It is generally recommended to use a crutch on the side of the uninjured leg, opposite the injured leg. However, Wonhee continued to use the crutch on her injured right leg throughout the photo session and while walking through the departure gate. This brings into question whether she was properly instructed on how to use the crutches.
Online communities and various posts are responding with comments like, “Why isn’t anyone assisting the injured Wonhee?”and “Despite the presence of multiple cameras, there was no consideration shown. Is this a result of inadequate education and communication from the agency?”Additionally, many are expressing sadness at the sight of Wonhee in this state.
Furthermore, remarks casting suspicion on Wonhee’s reliance on crutches, such as “Using the injured leg like that must be painful”and “Wasn’t she instructed on how to properly use the crutches by the hospital?”, were also brought to light.
