Destiny 2 Devs Respond to Player Feedback and Make Immediate Changes to Breach Executable Activity

The developers of Destiny 2 have announced that they will be implementing changes to the Breach Executable activity in The Final Shape based on feedback from players regarding “specific aspects that were causing frustration.”

The initial episode of Destiny 2 has commenced following the successful launch of the Final Shape expansion. In this debut episode, Guardians return to Nessus to team up with Failsafe and investigate unusual Vex behavior on the planet.

As is customary, this latest story will unfold through weekly missions, featuring a developing narrative. This release will also offer a repeatable activity where Guardians can work towards obtaining different loot and rewards, allowing players to continuously strive for the ideal versions of the seasonal weapons.

Despite the enjoyment intended for the Breach Executable activity, many Guardians have experienced frustrating elements that have hindered their experience. In response to the community’s complaints, Bungie has announced that they will be implementing several changes in an upcoming update next week.

On June 26, the Destiny 2 team announced that they have listened to feedback about certain frustrating elements in Breach Executable and have planned a few changes for next week’s update to enhance the overall experience.

Initially, the developers have decided to eliminate the Void Threst modifier from the Expert difficulty of Breach Executable due to concerns that certain enemies were inflicting excessive damage.

In addition to this, they have also introduced a guarantee that two Planetary Pistons will always be available for Guardians to find during their hunts, along with Radiolite samples. The range of the Piston waypoints has also been expanded to make them easier to spot.

Bungie will be extending the delay for teleportation to the next encounter when joining allies. This will give you more time to extract samples, even if your teammates are moving quickly. Additionally, extracting Radiolite samples will become instantaneous, allowing you to return to battle more quickly.

Ultimately, the developers have acknowledged that they are looking into reports of players being unable to locate the specimen NES003 and initiate the research quest for the seasonal challenge. They have assured that this problem will be addressed during the upcoming weekly reset.
