A fan who used to support Dr Disrespect, and gained attention in 2022 for posting pictures of himself dressed as the influencer, has disposed of the costume after Doc acknowledged sending ‘inappropriate’ messages to a minor.
On June 25, 2024, Dr Disrespect finally confirmed the reason for his Twitch ban in 2020, ending the anticipation among fans.
During a Twitter/X post, Doc confessed to sending inappropriate messages to a minor using Twitch’s Whisper feature, which ultimately led to his ban from the platform.
Fans of Dr Disrespect, along with other streamers on platforms such as Twitch, YouTube, and Kick, promptly responded to the announcement.
After the news broke, close friends of Doc such as NICKMERCS and TimTheTatman, released videos denouncing his actions and stating that they can no longer stand by Dr Disrespect. In contrast, Kai Cenat addressed the situation on stream and promptly unfollowed the streamer after expressing his thoughts.
A previous supporter known as mochocolate, who has gained attention in the past for impersonating the streamer, shared his response to the Doc’s tweet by tossing his vest and wig into a nearby dumpster.
“I am getting rid of the Dr Disrespect costume I wore in 2022 and deleting any photos or videos of me wearing it,”he stated. “I want absolutely no association with a predator.”
In the video, the fan is shown walking up to the dumpster and then throwing it inside while shouting, “Get lost, jerk.”

After the streamer admitted to his allegations, Mochocolate is not the only person severing ties with the Doc.
On June 24, the studio Dr Disrespect helped create, Midnight Society, revealed that their partnership had come to an end.
On June 25, after Doc admitted to the allegations, studio head Robert Bowling released his own statement.
“If you send inappropriate messages to a minor, I will not be able to work with you. This is non-negotiable.”

The San Francisco 49ers have also stated that they are taking these developments seriously and have decided to terminate their working relationship with Dr Disrespect in light of the recent news.
