The agency Belift Lab made an announcement through the fan community on June 27th, stating that Jay had experienced pain in his knee after the first concert of the ENHYPEN WORLD TOUR ‘FATE PLUS’ IN JAPAN – HIROSHIMA on June 26th. As a result, he sought medical treatment in Japan and was advised to limit excessive movements, including dancing and performing, for the time being.
The artist’s team clarified that while their client is fully committed to attending all scheduled group engagements, they will be limiting their movements during tonight’s concert as advised by the medical staff. As a result, Jay will not be participating in the sound check and will instead remain seated on stage and forgo the choreography.
However, he will not be present for certain other events. The agency stated, “Six members, excluding Jay, will be taking part in the 2024 MUSIC CORE IN JAPAN.”
“They assured, “Our utmost priority is to assist in Jay’s treatment and healing, ensuring his well-being above all else so that he can make a speedy return to his fans in good health.”
At the same time, ENHYPEN, comprised of Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Jungwon and Ni-ki, is scheduled to release their second full-length album “ROMANCE: UNTOLD”on July 12th.
