The second season of Go! Go! Loser Ranger!, produced by Yostar Pictures, will continue the storyline from the previous season, which aired from April 7, 2024, to June 30, 2024. The anime is based on the popular Japanese manga series of the same name, created by Negi Haruba. The series cleverly parodies the traditional superhero concept.
Upcoming Season of Go! Go! Loser Ranger! to Debut in 2025
The anime’s official X (formerly Twitter) account and website have confirmed that Fighter D’s Story will continue in season 2 of Go! Go! Loser Ranger! on Sunday, June 30, 2024. The staff has also released a promotional video, revealing that the sequel is set to premiere in 2025.
In addition to the website and X account, the ending of the latest episode revealed that the anime will be coming back for a second season in 2025. Noteworthy, the announcement video reflects on the significant moments of the first season and builds anticipation for the upcoming sequel.
The show’s director, Sato Keiichi, has expressed gratitude towards the viewers for their support and for watching the anime. The staff has also shared an illustration by Sato Keiichi, featuring Fighter D and the Red Keeper.
Furthermore, on his official X account, @negi_haruba, the original mangaka Negi Haruba shared a celebratory visual for season 2 of Go! Go! Loser Ranger!. The illustration features Kanon Hisui, an important character from the anime.
In addition to the announcement of season 2, the official staff also announced that episodes 9-12 from the just-concluded season will be released for free on Full Anime TV starting from 6 PM IST on June 30, 2024.
Staff and Cast for the Anime
The actors who appeared in the first season are expected to return for season 2. Yusuke Kobayashi will continue to portray Fighter D, while Yano Yumika will reprise her role as Yumeko Suzukiri. Daishi Kajita will once again play Hibiki Sakurama, and Yuichi Nakamura will continue to lend his voice to Sosei Akabane, also known as Red Keeper.
Azumi Waki portrays the character of Kanon Hisui, with Rika Nagae taking on the role of Komachi Aizome. Hina Youmiya is cast as Fighter XX, and Nao Ichimichi plays the role of Sesera Sakurama.
Keiichi Sato was the director for the first season at Yostar Pictures, with Keiichiro Ochi serving as both the scriptwriter and supervisor. Kahoko Koseki was responsible for character design and served as the chief animation director, while Yoshihiro Ike composed the music for the series.
What to Expect in Go! Go! Loser Ranger! Season 2?
Since the first season already covered the Bailong’s Nest Arc from the original manga, Go! Go! Loser Ranger! season 2 can start the adaptation from chapter 52, which marks the beginning of the Dreamy School Life Arc.
Despite Blue Keeper being out of the picture, Fighter D remains determined to seek revenge and achieve his goal by overpowering the four remaining Keepers. Nevertheless, in the upcoming season, the Monster will encounter numerous challenges and obstacles.
