Just like the original game, Shadow of the Erdtree also features 15 Remembrance bosses. These bosses, when defeated, grant players access to their Remembrances which can be traded for exclusive weapons, incantations, and talismans. Much like Elden Ring, these bosses are highly tempting and should not be missed.
1. Memories of the Dancing Lion
Boss: The Divine Beast Dancing Lion
Where: Near the Stagefront Site of Grace in Tower Settlement, Belurat.
Benefits
- The talisman known as the “Enraged Divine Beast”possesses the power to conjure powerful storms.
- The Ash of War known as Divine Beast Frost Stomp grants an armanent the ability to wield the Cold affinity and the skill of the same name.
Remembrance of the Twin Moon Knight
Boss: Rellana, the Twin Moon Knight
Location: In close proximity to the Castle-Lord’s Chamber Site of Grace, within Castle Ensis
Rewards are still available.
- Rellana’s Twin Blades: The Greatsword is embedded with blue glintstone. When wielding it, you take on a Moon-and-Fire Stance which is an embodiment of Rellana’s twin nature.
- Rellana’s Twin Moons is a form of sorcery that unites two moons, causing them to overlap in the sky. One after the other, they crash down to the earth, causing the ground beneath you to tremble violently.
Remembrance of the Impaler
The boss’s name is Messmer the Impaler.
Location: In the vicinity of the entrance to Dark Chamber at the Site of Grace, Shadow Keep
The incentives are still available.
- Spear of the Impaler: The sharp spear adorned with a warped blade can be thrown to pierce the souls of enemies.
- The spell known as Messmer’s Orb has the power to conjure a massive orb of Messmer’s flame. This fiery sphere flies towards the target and detonates a few seconds upon impact.
Remembrance of the Lord of Frenzied Flame
Supervisor: Midra, the Frenzied Flame Lord
Location: The site of Grace on the second floor of Midra’s Manse.
Incentives
- The Greatsword of Damnation is capable of inflicting damage upon the enemy, bringing about damnation like it did when it pierced Midra.
- Midra’s Flame of Frenzy is an incantation that conjures an apparition of the Lord’s head, which unleashes frenzied flames upon the individual in front of it.
Remembrance of Putrescence
The boss’s name is Putrescent Knight.
Location: Stone Coffin Fissure, specifically at the Fissure Depths Site of Grace
Incentives
- Putrescence Cleaver: This greataxe causes frost buildup. It draws power from the user’s arcane attribute.
- The Vortex of Putrescence releases a swirling tornado of putrid streams that detonate a few seconds after hitting their target. In its wake, a patch of ghostly flames remains.
6. Remembrance of the Shadow Sunflower
Manager: Scadutree Avatar
Location: The Church District of the Tree-Worshipping Sanctum, known as Shadow Keep.
Incentives
- The Shadow Sunflower Blossom may appear as a lovely flower, but it has the power to cause death. It can be utilized to execute the Shadow Sunflower Headbutt, a move that involves slamming down the blossom and unleashing deadly shockwaves.
- The incantation in the Land of Shadow results in a shower of golden projectiles.
7. In Memory of the Wild Boar Rider
Boss: Commander Gaius
Location: In the vicinity of Shadow Keep, at the Back Gate Site of Grace, in Scaduview
The Rewards remain the same.
- The Sword Lance is a powerful weapon that combines the strengths of a greatsword and a lance, allowing for devastating attacks against enemies. Its true potential, however, can only be unlocked when used while riding a dependable steed.
- Blades of Stone: This ability allows you to summon blade-like rocks from the earth and direct them at your foe, causing significant damage.
Remembrance of the Saint of the Bud
Boss: Romina, the Bud’s Saint
The locations are near Church of the Bud, the main entrance site of Grace, and the ancient ruins of Rauh.
Incentives
- The Poleblade of the Bud results in the accumulation of rot.
- The incantation “Rotten Butterflies”calls forth a legion of butterflies. When they strike, the winged insects will cause decay.
9-Remembrance of the Mother of Fingers
Supervisor: Metyr, also known as The Mother of Fingers.

- The Staff of the Great Beyond serves as a catalyst for sorceries and incantations.
- The Gazing Finger is the head of the finger-mother Metyr. It allows you to execute Kowtower’s Resentment, a powerful bow that utilizes its protruding part.
10. Remembrance of a God and a Lord
Boss: Promised Consort Radahn and Consort Miquella
Location: Enir-Ilim, specifically the Divine Gate Front Staircase.

- Greatsword of Radahn (Lord): It was wielded by Radahn during his prime years. Perform the Promised Cosrt– imbue the two greatswords with the light of Miquella and deliver a slash.
- Greatsword of Radahn (Light): You can execute the Lightspeed Slash. It takes a radiant form and delivers a downward slash in the blink of an eye.
- Miquella’s Light: It obliterates foes with a powerful beam of light.
