The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has been enhanced with a fantastic mod that offers various new ways to experience the game, including the addition of a customizable character feature. This includes a fully developed Sorceress class with its own set of quests.
From the viewpoint of a Witcher, the fantasy world of The Witcher is depicted. Our central character is Geralt of Rivia, with the occasional exception of playable segments featuring Ciri in The Witcher 3, in which we are able to utilize her ancient magic and combat abilities.
Despite the widespread popularity of Witchers, there are other factions in the world that players are equally invested in. One such faction is the Sorceresses, including Triss and Yennefer, who hold significant influence in the story and possess abilities beyond Geralt’s capabilities.
For those who have ever desired to possess true magical abilities in The Witcher universe, there is now a way. Thanks to Custom Player Characters by nikich340 on Nexus Mods, players can now design their own character. This includes the option to create a male Witcher who is not Geralt, a female Witcher resembling Ciri, or even a Sorceress.

The Sorceress is not just a playable character, but also includes a magic system and special quests that reveal new spells. These spells allow for abilities such as teleportation, creating light, casting lightning bolts, summoning tornados, and transforming into animals such as cats and birds.
When personalizing your hero, whether they are a Sorceress, a Witcher, or a Witcheress, you have the option to incorporate elements from any character in the game. You can either directly adopt the appearance of another character or combine different pieces from the entire cast.
Players who prefer to play as a female Witcher can also enjoy a completely revoiced version of Geralt’s dialogue. The updated Witcher quests now include full voice acting in both English and Russian for the Sorceress character.
Custom Player Characters could possibly be the most ambitious Witcher 3 mod up to this point, and the developer is not finished yet. As stated on the Nexus Mods page, their goal is to incorporate additional quests for Sorceresses in the future, potentially allowing players to complete the game without Geralt and defeat the Wild Hunt without relying on Witchers.
